Nimotel - Nimes

The location is very far from city center; both the hotel and the room were very old and not at all welcoming.

Location close to the commercial area.

Poor Maintenance of the room, small swimming pool not as shown in the website pictures.

The grounds of the hotel, although a little unkempt, was ideal for our dog. We were very well placed to visit some spectacular sights in the region.

Your advertising said wi-fi was available in all the rooms and our booking confirmation repeated it. This was not the case - wi-fi was only available in the bar, very disappointing!

The reception area is very nice, complete with good internet facilities, and helpful staff

the room was a bit 'old' - also the corridor; lighting bad in the en suite. I believe we were in an older section of the building.

Easy access to the Motorway.

Seemed a little run down - room was a little shabby. restaurant was uninviting, ate next door at the Holiday Inn

Hotel rooms were dirty. Bins were still filled from previous occupants. One of the 4 rooms I had booked had blood smears on the toilet walls and blood on the bedspread and bloody tissues on the toilet floor. In spite of our complaints the room was still not cleaned upon our return later in the day. An alternative room was found for the night and this again was filthy. Complimentary breakfasts were provided by way of compensation.

Very noisy during the afternoon (when we needed to rest after a long journey). The swimmingpool is very small and dirty. The room is small as well, not comfort at all.

Cheap night but we stayed a a wing that is not as good as the main building and I was not aware of that, when I book it did not say you would stay in a cheaper wing. but for the price I suppose I cannot grumble but I would have preferred to have known. I like the pool

I was surprised to find there were not showers or changing rooms near the pool only toilets!!!!!! The staff was not aware that there was a discount for golfers playing at Vacquerolles Golf Club..... so they did not give me a Special voucher.

The fact that it was handy for Nimes airport and not into so easy to get to.

The restaurant wasn't very welcoming for English and far too expensive, although there was a Macdonalds nearby.Complete lack of space and beds around the pool which got very busy and quite frenzied. Infact my bed was pulled from under me as soon as I stood up.

Good for one night stay on our way with car from France to Italy, easy access from the highway. The outdoor pool was a nice surprise but it is quite small and can get crowded if the hotel is full. Large parking was good for us car travellers. The hotel restaurant is quite ok, something for everyone to choose.

Description of the location is very misleading: is not in "a 1,5 hectare wooded park", it is actually next to a large commercial center area. The hotel is already very worn out but the superior rooms are renovated and nice with very effective air-conditioning - we definitely recommend to pay that extra price for a superior room. But to be remembered, this hotel is really not for a holiday stay, but for a one night stop-over.

The clean room and the possibility to have a swin in the pool.

For a international hotel I don't understand, that no staff talks english.

Free parking, and dogs were accepted. The grounds are parklike, and it was close to the highway, which made it an easy to reach and park location.

Our room was in an older building that was in a state of disrepair. The air conditioner worked, but had mold all over it. I booked there because it was a Best Western and the price was decent, but I was disappointed at the lack of maintenance at this hotel.

We used the hotel as a 2 night stop over before flying back to the UK from Nimes Airport. It was an ideal base for visiting Nimes and the Camargue. Using the hotel swimming pool in the late afternoon was very pleasant to cool off.

Abundance of parking space. Close to the highway. Easy to drive off to other parts of Provence. Did not see much public transport nearby though.

The swimming pool did not have a shallow area for children. Service was not really good. Was in a triple room but given only 2 towels. When I called for the extra towel I was told to walk over to the reception (in a separate building) to get it.
